Ridgecrest Police Department will be present for a “Coffee with a Cop” event at Beanster’s Espresso, 1601 N. Triangle Drive on Friday, Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The mission of “Coffee with a Cop” is to break down barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve. This event does this by removing agenda and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.

If you haven’t yet, take time to talk and have a coffee with one of our Ridgecrest police officers, a misunderstood concept of police is that they are only out to get us but in reality they are people just like us doing their jobs. That is something that needs more attention to detail.
