Cannabis, commonly call marijuana or pot, has probably been used by humans ever since cavemen were here. It has come a long way from being illegal to legal in some states. It is used to help people, marijuana shouldn’t be called a drug it should be called medicine. Cannabis is the most commonly used drug in the United States. Marijuana is legalized in some states for medical and recreational purposes. Primary attention has been on rates of use among youth, as early adolescent use has been linked to an increased risk for addiction to cannabis and other drugs. Therefore, people should wait until there of age because cannabis is known as the gateway drug to other drugs.
