March 4,1829  was a night to remember at The White House when Andrew Jackson’s open house started a mob that demolished the president’s house. While heavily drinking the crowd destroyed furniture and china, used their boots to grind cheese into the carpet throughout The White House. The huge overcrowded party even scared away President Andrew Jackson. Making him ditch his own party. Jackson then used the promise of more free liquor to draw the mob out of the executive mansion.
