Everyone listens to music, that’s a given fact. There are different types/genres of music, but what makes people want to listen to music? Music actually boosts brain chemicals. One of the ways music affects mood is by stimulating the formation of certain brain chemicals. Dopamine is the brain’s “motivation molecule” and an integral part of the pleasure-reward system. Music improves brain health and function in many different ways; it can make you smarter, happier, and it can even make you more productive at any age. Musicians have bigger, better connected, more sensitive brains. Music can help you reduce stress, and improve your mood. So the whole point of this article is to prove that listening/playing music can help improve your brain activity. That’s is why I listen to music when I do school work.
